Microsoft Office 365 Technical User Group

This session will focus on device management using Microsoft Intune to secure company devices and applications. Device management in Microsoft 365 replaces legacy tools like Active Directory Group Policy and others. Once devices are enrolled and managed, we gain another important leverage point for corporate managed apps and data. For instance, it is possible to limit access and block downloads from Office 365 locations on unmanaged devices. Come see how this is done and how device management tools can enhance end user experiences in apps such as OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. At this session, we'll review how to:
  • Create policies to manage devices of all types using a central management UI
  • Link the policies to Conditional access rules which will block or limit access to applications
  • Create application-targeted policies to restrict the movement of data to outside apps and locations
